ECNP School of Child and
22-27 March 2020, Venice, Italy
The ECNP School of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychopharmacology has been established to encourage and spread excellence in clinical neuropsychopharmacology among child and adolescent psychiatrists.
The school will be held in Venice, Italy, from 22-27 March 2020.
A select number of participants will be offered an interactive week with an international faculty of experts in basic and clinical paediatric neuropsychopharmacology.
Participants are selected by the chair of the school, with two to three potential candidates per country, on the basis of their career potential. A maximum of 50 early career psychiatrists will be accepted and their accommodation costs are covered by ECNP.

Registration will take place on Sunday 22 March from 16.30-17.00, followed by the opening session and the first lecture. The programme finishes on Friday 27 March around lunchtime.
Wednesday afternoon is a free afternoon, so participants can enjoy the beautiful city of Venice.
The school is intended for outstanding, 'up and coming’ early career psychiatrists who aspire to lead the profession in their home country in the coming years.
Early career psychiatrists with substantial research training may apply during their residency (preferable after at least 2 years of clinical practice).
Early career psychiatrists who have completed residency should normally not have completed more than 6 years in full time practice.
The school is only for residents in Europe (Europe being the 47 countries of the Council of Europe
plus Israel and Belarus).
Applications will be considered individually and on its merits. A personal statement to explain, in the applicant’s own words, why he/she would like to attend, is mandatory.
Please note that it is not possible to participate in more than one school of ECNP.
